	Deanne Burton (Robert's Arm, Newfoundland) "Creating" art has always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always content when I had a crayon, a pencil, and some paper nearby. My husband and I have have been married for 16 years. He is the most wonderful person and my very best friend. We have two sons who are the inspiration of many of my layouts. Their names are Alexander (15) and Nathan(12). I am an elementary teacher, vice-principal and librarian at my school. I am very passionate about scrapbooking and every chance I get (which is about EVERY DAY!) I spend it creating something. I am very interested in sharing my creativity and passion for scrapbooking with others. I so happy to have the opportunity to be on the Design Team at Scrapping Turtle! 	Jasmine Roth (Elmira, Ontario) I have always had creativity on my side whether it be sewing, designing, scrapbooking or photography. I am a mommy to Charlise (4), Dominic (3), and Tyson aka chunky monkey (1). I discovered my true calling a few years ago when I became a professional photographer specializing in children and families. I live in Elmira, Ontario and am lucky enough to be a 5 minute drive from The Scrapping Turtle. It is impossible for me to start my day without my Timmies and have a great husband who has learned that very quickly. With many ups and downs in my life, scrapbooking became my creative outlet where I could just be me. It allowed me to express what I was feeling at a particular time, or at that moment. Special thanks to my friend Kerri who showed me how to create a hobby into an obsession. I am a total addict when it comes to paint, chipboard and rub-ons. I find it hard to create a "simple" layout. The brighter and bolder, the better for me. What do I expect to gain from this experience? Well with all the wonderful inspiration in the gallery I want to think outside my box. Push myself to come up with great ideas and projects for every level of scrapbooker and even for myself. I Look forward to working with all of you and my hope is that I can also inspire you! 	Lori Price (Waterloo, Ontario) I first waded into this hobby in 1997, was scrapbooking was fairly new and you only got your “fix” at a home party!!! Since then the industry has exploded, the resources are mindboggling, and my love of this craft has grown in leaps and bounds. I have twin boys who are 9 and the inspiration for most of the layouts I create. I love colour, texture, and depth but I am most passionate about journaling. I really believe in the importance of the words that tell the story. I work at the store with Hannah, and totally love the challenge that being surrounded by scrapbooking supplies provides. 	Martina Brill (Calgary, Alberta) I live in Calgary, AB with my husband and our 4 kids Kayla (5), Kiarra (4), Kameron (3) and Kassidy (1). They keep us very busy and my way of relaxing is to scrapbook as soon as they are all sleeping at night. I have been scrapbooking for about 6 years now and slowly it became my obsession. I love creating pages as much as I like collecting my scrapbooking stuff. I dont have particular style, my scrapbooking style changes all the time and I would say it depends on my mood. 	Michelle McCorkell (Waterloo, Ontario) I joined this incredible ride two years ago at a Creative Memories party. My sister-in-law was selling the product and I decided to have a party for her. I was determined that this was not my thing but when I ventured outside the CM world, I was hooked. The patterned paper, the little embellishments, the die cutting machines, the magazines, and the websites - it dragged me in. This hobby has provided so much for me – a creative outlet, a relaxing past time, something for me, creating memories for my family and being connected to like minded people with the same obsession. I have been scrapbooking for 2 years now and my style is continually changing. I love trying new techniques and doing things that I have not done before. My family is my main source of material. I have been married for 10 years to an extremely supportive husband, Andy and I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful daughters, Avery (5) and Meredith (3).
